I have went ahead and ordered this revolver it was not cheap but in my whole collection I do not have any revolver and I have just recently got into them as I shot a 357 and loved it. Of course I decided to step it up a notch and picked this one mainly because of its looks and well 44 is awesome. Has anyone had any experience with these? Being a "performance model" was wondering if they are really as good as they say as it pretty much cost me twice as much as a normal model 629.

Yes, I have the same gun. It is on my "keep forever" list. While they come in different colour combinations I chose the all black model as well. The trigger is tuned to perfection on mine. And it is just a fine gun to shoot. Nothing else to say really except that you should be very happy with your decision.

Have fun...

Congrats. That is one of the nicer PC models imo.

The PC models get some extra attention for sure (eg. trigger, fitting). How much these days, I'm not totally sure (older PC models were basically semi-customs). Part of the higher price tag also certainly relates to limited production and unique styling. The value proposition on that side of things is more subjective.

Anyway yours is a very nice gun and I'm sure it will be a great shooter.

Thanks for the input! I live in Alberta and I could not find any in stock at any stores here so I ended up paying a little more to order one from bullseye London Ontario for $1900. But it will for sure be one I imagine I will keep forever so it was worth it

Nice 44. I have the 44 magnum Hunter with the muzzle brake, love it to death, my favorite restricted for sure. Welcome to the S&W "PC" club!

I have found that no matter what gun you buy and no matter what price you say someone always has to say "man I paid a lot less or I could have sold one for a lot less" lol!!!! It was worth the 1900 for me being brand new the price I paid does not bother me at all I really wanted this firearm would not have mattered if I had to pay 3000 it was going to be mine ;) appreciate the comment though

And plus 1500 for a used one I'd rather pay the 1900 for the new but that is just me

Honeslty, I would have done 1200$.

Either way, enjoy your new gun. The crappy feeling about buying an expensive gun always goes away the second you empty the first magazine

I never have the crappy feeling with any of
My purchases I only buy what I know I can afford without a care and also 1200 I would still spend 1900 for new but thanks!
