Smith and Wesson stiff cycling

Hi, I have a new unfired S+W model 69 that is noticeably hard to #### on one hole. I can also feel it bind up on double action dry firing on the same hole. There is one hole that's easy to ####/cycle and the other holes are somewhere in between. When I pull the cylinder out and hold the release back there's no biding. I'm guessing there is some problem with the hand and ratchets that needs tuning but I'm no expert. There's lots of light shining between the forcing cone and cylinder when I cycle it past the tight spot. Any ideas gents? Should I send it into a service center?

I've had crud under the star/extractor before that caused a bit of binding

He has said forcing cone gap remains the same and new unfired.

I am thinking maybe a call to MD Charleton or wortners to get a waybill for shipping to them is in order.
