Smith and Wesson

Is it just me or is anyone repeatedly mildly surprised when they are reminded that Smith and Wesson makes handguns other than revolvers?

I just clicked on "handguns" and then "Smith and Wesson" on a sponsor's site and was momentarily puzzled and confused to only see a listing for a M&P 9 and a M&P 40. For a second it was like "this can't be right....where are all the Smith and Wessons"

Lol. When some one says Smith and Wesson I instantly think about my M&P9. Then they say revolvers.... :/ not my style. I still want one to collect though!

Smith and Wesson was always excellent at revolvers, but the only semi-auto worth looking at was the model 52. But then I'm biased!

Mostly the only real guns that S&W make are revolvers but I must admit there are a few exceptions to every rule.

Carry a Smith on the hip every day so I naturally think pistols not revolvers. That being said, who wouldn't like a 586 or 686 for their collection? Sweet looking guns.
