I finally recieved my Smith Enterprise weaver rail today and found that, other then being steel, it is exactley the same as the cheap one from Marstar that was causing jams on my rifle.
Does anyone have any experience with this rail? Is there anything that I am missing that makes this one better (other then it being steel)?

Thanks for the help

i haven't yet tried mine,i have just received the same mount.
is this a m305?if so,i suspect it may be the ejector spring inside the bolt.the norcs have a longer spring which ejects the spent case harder.
hungrys video shows how to disassemble the bolt and cut a winding or two off the spring.this is said to help.

what makes a mount better is how stiff it is and how well it locks/fits into place.

This one should be built to much more exact specifications and as stated will be stiffer and therefore more accurate.

Changing the springs in the bolt to USGI has solved those problems for many m305 owners, or try modifying the springs as suggested.

leave the mount alone...the solution of your problem is in the other part of the gun...
so, find coplete USGI bolt, or replese Norinco bolt parts with USGI...extractor with the spring, ejector with the spring....
in my case I exschanged parts in Norinco bolt and solved the problem :)
good luck :)
