'smith inquiry-Joe Kretsch?

Joe has bedded four of my rifles and although I havn't had a chance to shoot them yet, I'm confident that accuracy will be as good or better. Fair prices, for perfessional work! If I had a re-barrel job to have done...would likely end up with Joe.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe for smith work.
Everybody that I know uses him, and I've never heard a complaint, other than the fact that he is usually so busy that it can take a while to get your rifle back.
I had a rifle rechambered from 7 BR to 7-08, and he did a fabulous job , and I thought the price was quite reasonable.

thumbs up

Joe put together my .243 a few years ago and I have never had a problem. He know his stuff and many in southern Ontario swear by him. I give him two thumbs up.. and a great guy to boot.

thanks guys. I think this thread hammers home the point that there are lots of good smiths flying under the radar. I just bought a f class switch barrel smithed by Joe, after hearing the good reports from you folks.

I will send you his phone number after I get my barrel put on:D
If everybody knows about Joe it will take months instead of week to get my own stuff done:p
