Hey there,

I've given up trolling the EE and haven't had luck with Google. Is anyone aware of a Canadian retailer selling G10 grips for S&W N Frame revolvers? I'm thinking Hogue or VZ but open to others. I have found a few for K frames but that's about it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm sure they can be purchased from another retailer south of the border with cheaper shipping and try to have them send via USPS, no brokerage.
Brownells? They even help you fill out your import forms!

I got a set of VZ a year or so ago. Tried them on my square butt 657 (.41 mag) and the 629....it's like a cheese grater with a big magnum, went back to the pachmayr grippers. The fit on them is fantastic as is the look, but ouch. If you really want a set (square butt) I'll make you a deal....TC

I was looking for a round to square conversion (recent production 629) so I don't know that it would work. Good point regarding the added recoil on the magnums though. I've only ever shot .44 with wood or rubber so that's a consideration. My auto loaders all run piranha or chain link Hogue grips so I do generally favor a more aggressive grip pattern.

Yes, I run sets of G10s piranha and chain-link Hogues on my Sigs as well, in 9mm, .40 and .45, really like them. Did not like them on the magnums. If you wore gloves maybe, but I don't.....anyway, not sure if the square butts would be a fit for round or not....? They might might and just have an internal gap that you wouldn't see....?
