Lever action and plastic stocks just seem sacrilegious to me, but then I'm an old phart...

I bought one of these rifles last May, and I love it. I put a red dot on it and I carry it everywhere I go lol. Its my new go to gopher gun, I shot a few today. I went with .357

Yes. They have the trigger flop. Very floppy.

Got one for mine...

Picked it up from CSC. Eliminates the flop and feels like a light two stage trigger with a nice crisp 3.25lb break. Super happy with it.

Yeah. Not cheap. But for what it’s worth, the cash delta between the S&W 1854 Stealth Hunter and the Ruger made Marlin Dark was enough to get me the trigger, stock, muzzle brake, and a few other bits and still be cash ahead. Anyone who had held both and racked the lever can’t honestly tell me the Marlin is that much better.

Bought the Timney Marlin trigger before, it was $289, and still $289 today in store... no idea why S&W is so much more... duty?

Safeties on levers are an abomination. Kudos to Henry and Browning for not lawyering up their leverguns.

They make me very angry. Thankfully, Ranger Point Precision makes a safety delete and it isn't terribly expensive.
