The empty boxes are little collectable, say 15-20$ last I saw. Ammo will be from the 70s, so I would say shoot it but keep a full box if you are into collecting or want to try selling locally. Clean empty boxes are worth keeping for sure.

Would they be worth more if thay are full?

22lr collector here, that's definitely collectible to a guy like me, would I pay big bucks for it? no, my rule of thumb at gunshows is to not spend more than $10 per box of 50 on collectable 22, and it's worked out for me thus far, too bad you weren't closer, would love to buy a few.

Thank you for letting me know

10$ is a very general number it depends on the age of the ammo the brand of the ammo the condition of the box 22 short or long or long rifle
a blanket price of 10$ is a generalized price point
buying and selling are two different price points
Go to Guns international and check listings on ammo
don't get excited thinking those prices apply in canada because they don't usa gun culture and canadian gun culture two totally different things
i watch eyed a colt single action revolver sell for 350.000.00 $ at auction

Here's my haul from gunshows and CGN over the last two years, Not one I paid more than $10, Most between $5-$8, I do and accuracy test only old antique ammo, So I like to try and have at least 2 boxes.
