It's an "export" version of the M&P Model #M&P 15i

Comes in .223REM caliber, has 17" Target Crown barrel (no muzzle device and no threading), A2 Fixed Buttstock, A2 Front Sight Post but no bayo lug.

:( :( Oh well.....at least we have options out there still for EVIL AR's like Saber Defense, Hopefully some Chinese and M4's and Questar's Knights SR-15 :)

More than you know :)

We have lots of AR stuff coming in 2009. Some is US made and we've also sourced some very well made, quality, mil-spec AR's that will be coming from outside North America.

Don't like announcing things that aren't here yet... it's just a pain having to apologize later if they are late or don't ever show up... but we believe that there will be lots of choices for AR buyers in 2009.

Need moar LMT Mark.

My understanding is that the M&P 15 is made for S&W by Stag Arms,,if that's correct, just by the Stag, it's cheaper.

Not anymore, SW made them on their own now.

No, I've read it on the internet too, but it is not true, well, it's sorta true. Changes are S&W is now assembling them in-house (I guess you could call that making them?), rather than CMT both making the parts and doing assembly. CMT uses Shaw barrels, S&W now use Green Mountain barrels. Other than that...

awesome questar,
good to hear it.

i did some reading a while back on the s&w ar's they used to suck. lots of problems poor qc on them because s&w didnt make them .they had someone else do all the work. but too many complaints they said enough and now make it in house. they are supposed to be better now. im sure this one will be just as good as the rest of the american stuff. just too bad about that barrel.
