Smith & Wesson M&P 9 VTAC

Hey guys,

Looking for some folks on here that might have experience with the VTAC sights. My shots are hitting consistently low with the sights.

Don't take this the wrong way but are you a good enough shot to know it's definitely the sights? Are you using the proper sight alignment? Factory ammo or reloaded?

If you're sure it's the sights then get a lower front post.

Get someone else to shoot it or bench it and see what it does 90% on the time it's the shooter.

I shot much better with my sig p220. I am just finding these sights much more difficult to use with the extra night sight dots.
It's factory ammo that Ive been using.
It could be a new habit that Ive developed, but I'm just posting to see if anyone else out there has used these sights with success. If so they could possibly give me some pointers.

I don't want to come off as blunt BUT there really aren't any "pointers" specific to fixed sights. It's either shooter error (flinching?) or the sights are off.

"General" sight alignment:

Put the front sight completely over the target, don't use the 6 o'clock hold.

I put the fiber optic dot centered on the target with my 40 vtac.
