Shot a Steel Challenge match last month and was squadded with a fellow that shot an M&P R8 (I shot a 610). I've wanted to get an R8 since then!

I have minimal revolver experience so there isn't much I can compare it to, but I do own an R8. I love it. Good weight. It's a bit long, but with our ridiculous barrel length laws, this is pretty good.
Repete did a bit of lightening on the trigger for me, and he installed some night sights that I had picked up as well.
The gun also comes with a sight rail for the top.

Wild West in Edmonton had a one. And the Buffalo Gun Center had one (where I handled one) at one time.
