A bunch of CGN vendors show them at $799, which seems like a great deal for these. However, everyone seems to be sold out of these rifles. Are they still being imported?

The M&P II along with WW and DPMS etc...were under valued when Trump took office. There was a glut of ARs when the firearms industry thought Killary was going to be the next POTUS. Democrats and liberals make good gun salespeople. Not so much under Republicans.

The $600-$700 price was never going to be forever. Now, combined with the panic buying and our devalued currency, the M&P will not only be harder to find but soon will go up in price.

Yeah, finally found 2 in stock: $940 and +$1000.

I guess I missed out.

Crazy how much these have skyrocketed in price. Just pulled out my receipts and I bought mine for 589.99 just over 1.5 years ago on sale.

After buying mine from Cabelas for $619 because it was so cheap I didn't expect much. It turns out it's a fantastic best in class AR!!! I've used mine extensively for CQB fun and not only is it wearing well after ~2000 rounds, it's built with decent fit and finish, came with an excellent factory trigger pull, it's proven reliable, and it's damn accurate too!

I put a Vortex PST Gen II 5-25 temporarily on it for bench testing. I was consistently hitting 1.5 MOA @ 100M with fed bulk ammo and got many sub MOA targets with quickly hand loaded VARGET Hornady Bulk 55 gr bullet hand loads. I didn't get down to making any MATCH grade ammo to see what it's really capable of but I was ecstatic with the results I did get.

I replaced the furniture with Magpul and after that, and I haven't felt the need to buy another AR since.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy one at $900 knowing how decent they are now.

My Sport ll came with an A2 front and a Magpul MBUS rear when purchased a couple years back. I noticed that some of the ads for the Sport ll are labelled 'optics ready" and do not come with sights but have front and back rails. Keep this in mind when ordering. A decent set of front and rear irons will add to the cost unless you are going straight to a red dot or scope and have factored that in.

mine came as well with the A2 front and MBUS rear.

before the price crash war they were close to $1000

Bought mine when Obama was in office, $920 taxes in. 4 months later (Trump in office) they were retailing for $650-700.

And you get guys going "they're not worth more than $700!" on these forums because that's all they know.

Yep people forget the only reason they dropped in price was the manufacturers upped production due to panic buying on speculation Hilary would win and bans would be on the table, when Trump won the panic buying stopped and the market was flooded.
