Just noticed this on the S&W facebook page, not sure if its been posted already here??

Yep, it's been posted before. Yes, I want one but the barrel is only 4.1" or 104.139mm. Not going to happen unless they make a special one for Canada. Which IMO it's not going to happen any time soon because the market here is too small.

Even if they did come, I can't see it being much cheaper than a real M&P...

-No replaceable back straps on the grip
-Hammer fired instead of striker fire like it's big brother
-Thumb safety which is an option on the bigger M&P but most dont have it. No options for the .22
-Aluminum slide, reviewers have warned about replacing sights as you dont want to damage the aluminum
- Markings are laser engraved, not like its big brother that is engraved (not that this matters much)

Id rather see a conversion kit or a real one not cheapened up like this Walther made knockoff.

Great if it makes it here with a legal barrel, but I too am for a conversion kit instead...I currently use the large back strap.

They are listed on the S&W website for $419. The average M&P listed is $650. But if they make one for Canada it might bump the price up.

I agree, I 22 conversion for the m&p would be great.
