Smith & Wesson Model 1000M Worth

I am looking into buying a Smith & Wesson 1000M,it is in mint condition,does anyone have any idea what a good deal would be on this shotgun and also is it a descent gun to buy,any help would be appreciated.

Have seen a few in the used gun racks for $ 300.00 to $ 500.00 .at 500 they seem not to move from the rack all that fast.

Parts are very difficult to come by for this model. I would pass on it and buy a Remington 1100.

Good thing there are lots of parts around for those 1100's.

Probably $400.00 range as stated above.

Pass on the S&W shotgun unless you get a smoking deal and go buy yourself either a new or used Beretta, Browning or Benelli.

I advised purchasing a Remington 1100 because the S&W 1000 was a copy of same. Thus if the S&W fit the Remington would probably fit also. Fit is paramount with any shotgun purchase, no matter which 'flavor' you choose.
