Smith & Wesson Model 17 Question

Yeah, I think the revolver shoots fine, if I do my part. To be honest, I haven't used the 1911 .22 enough to really get in tune with it. I've got too many pistols, and I only know a couple of them really well.
 
You got guts man. I saw that Smith cut and almost hit the floor. Felt like a smack in the man berries. Good job . I keep thinking about getting one . Old school Smith and Wesson I do love them, you make me think about a model 14 for the 38 Special.

You have talent crap you scared me when I saw that hack saw.
 
If the muzzle crowning is pulling the bullets off a little at least it's consistent. Or you lucked out and were attentive enough with your checking for squareness that any angle of the face and crown is minimal and has a consistent effect.

As you can see, they open up at 25 yds. Kind of haywire looking groups, but with practise, I hope I can shrink them. I believe the inconsistency is pilot error, I don't have a very steady hand.

DM, I have to shake your hand. Those groups look as good as I can get from my 17-3 with iron sights. The gun looks real pretty too. Considering your tools, you are not talented...but a genius! Outstanding job!

If you were in Vancouver, I would knock on your door, on my knees, with my revolvers.:D
