Smith & Wesson Model 22A-1 22LR. What's it worth?

I don't think that these are made any more , I have sold 2 in average shape for 250.oo and 300.oo, one mag, mag are about 40.oo each if I remember
475 might be alright with a good brand name sight on it, but not is it is some crap 60.oo NS or browning red dot
They do work fine and everone seems to like the grip(rubber s-w)

I remember passing up on one of these for $300 at Reliable. The 'high end' model with target grips as $495 new

Solid guns, they might not be the best looking, but Smith tried to incorporate some 46/41 build details in them. Good value for what they are in the 400 range. NB longer barrelled versions are much better shooters because of the sight radius and sight widths. Much to coarse on the 4.5" guns to be anything but a well build plinker imho

interesting note, just reading a Vietnam book, and some of the early SEALS and Seawolves used these as sidearms when on ops :) I had to google it while I was reading so I knew what they were using.

One particular scene in the book, the VC had guard geese. The team took out some of these with silenced S&W M22
