Hi all:
I've got Williams Fire Sight Set S&W M&P 22 Adjustable Fiber Optic Green Front Red Rear 70986 for my MP22.
The original sights slide out easy but Williams sights (both front and rear) are not sliding into the position.
I've tried to do it from the left and right side, thinking that they might be made not even, but I cannot slide them in.
So question to those who installed them: did you file a sights base to make them fit?
What did you do with the front sight to fix it in place? The original one has allen screw in it, the Williams sight doesn't have it.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I have the Fire Sights on a Glock. They look terrific.

No experience with the Mp22.

I have been known to use a file to taper the sight base a bit, so it can be started into the dovetail (from the right side).

If the sight has to be tapped in with a drift and hammer, you don't need the allen screw....

Thanks for the answer! File it is then.
