SMLE Sniper Clone

Made up a smle sniper clone like the A5 winchester scoped smle's from world war one.

Used a 6 x Malcolm scope.

Whitehead mounts that i produced from images and measurements from an original.

Looks good! One of my projects is a SMLE being assembled from salvaged parts, with the barrel lined to .22. I have a Fecker scope that could be mounted the same way.

Mounts stayed solid on it. Bedding issues on the foreend, never shot it when i put the forend on by itself. Rookie mistake! About a 6 inch group. Weather wasn’t very nice and not used to shooting side mount scopes. Yea yea excuses!

Once i get the foreend squared away I’ll post some targets.
