That's too bad. Although he obviously had a vested interest in promoting the brand he wasn't actually selling anything and was a great source of advice and general information.
 
Trigger is the distribution guy now, and they are not sponsors.
I thought it was only hotlinking to non dealers was the big deal....not actually discussing them.

Most if not all the US forums are not like this and they really don't care about hot links or even business dealings within reason. I have had a GP for years and it's nice to get a bit of inside info here and there.
 
I find it hard to understand why the new distributer would bring in a bunch of guns but no extra mags,spare parts,accessories etc etc.....what were they thinking??.:rolleyes::confused:
 
I hope Canuck is feeling better and can forward a message to Mark at Trigger and tell him to get his but over here and start an account on CGN.......

well if the factory rep was allowed to answer you will have your answer. but alas he is not.
10 of the paying dealer on CGN are stocking grand power pistols, but I guess that's not enough.

The mags are coming and plenty of them, from my understanding mags are a controlled item in Slovakia, which requires state approvle before export.
This time of year is very busy in the arms biz with some large shows all over the world.
As for small parts, I don't think that's an issues, the GP rep, who I have know for 15yrs, is setting up a system to allow people to get replacement small parts within Canada.
But don't quote me, ask your friendly GP sales rep.

Trust me from, someone In the biz, every sales rep in Canada for almost every product that's sold in Canada is a member on CGN, most questions are answered by PM, but when people are posting misinformation or halftruths that's is when most of the reps get found out.
As a paying member of CGN I have no issues with a brand rep answering tech and issue questions.

I just sent Trigger a contact message linking this thread and also asking about parts and magazine support....... we will see if they respond?

I thought he was still recuperating from a health crisis?

Are the gunsmiths who post regularly here going to be silenced as well? Seems dumb to censor some of the people with the most to offer here.
Hopefully Greentips or a Moderator can clear this up.

mark is a very busy guy, I,d be supprised if he would have the time to do that, one of the reasons that TW closed there account on CGN.

But yes I guess the public would like to here from either the importer of the MFG.
But no point in posting the reply here it will get deleted.

ill say this with for sure an impending infraction...
yes he has, he was asked to provide some info and was NDA and of course he would not, also asked to pay a very large sum to be able to speak hear, which GP declined and it was not realistic.
I will not talk about how much as that is one of the rules of being a paying dealer on CGN.
I do understand that CGN is a money making machine, but without a good network of people on this site, it will be just another place people come to b**ch.

Thanks Simon, I thought Mark had a presence here in the past and I agree he's got a bunch on his plate..... I didn't realize he'd dropped out of CGN.
