Anyone know anything slicker than a Krag action? Not exactly modern sporter but some smooth for a bolt gun.

You have not seen slick till you handle a krag in .30KJ. A fired cartrige will eject cleanly by just lifting the muzzle to 45 degees------------objiously after lifting the bolt handle

I own a few well made rifles, including a few Sako's a Sauer 202 and an M03 but got to tell you that my Vergueiro's are smoother

The older Steyr Mannlichers - the ones with rear locking bolts.

A while back I took a dummy round and loaded it into the mag of my buddy's 9.3 Mannlicher Schoenauer .
A quick jerk forward while holding the rifle by the forestock and pistol grip chambered the round and closed the bolt.
Now THAT is smooth when a rifle can be fed out of the mag and cocked without touching the bolt!

No not Portuguese winchester. Superior in my opinion because CRF and just feels better.
I've found while hunting the winchester feeds a round smoother than the tikka. Just my experience.
