Smoothest Action

honestly i have found my old enfield has a smoother action then every gun i have fondled at lebarons *which means every one they have in stock*

A buddy's 1903 Mannlicher -Schoenauer in 6.5x54.

Open the bolt and holding the trigger down (on an empty chamber) , when you tip the barrel down the bolt will slide down and lock up on its own.

I am not a seasoned bolt action shooter but the smoothest bolt gun I have ever used was my chums Blaser R93.Heafty price tag though.Slick as shiat through a goose.

I agree the blaser 93 is very smooth. I've only handled one once. At the same time I got to cycle a sauer 202. The blaser was good but the 202 made me drool!!!!!!!

I own a sako and it is very smooth but not in the same class as these guns.

Without a doubt, the smoothest bolt action of all times was the third generation Husqvarna. This is the rifle with the recessed bolt face and short extractor.

Some were marked as Husqvarna and some HVA Carl Gustaf.

Nothing being manufactured today that even comes close.

The Blaser R93LRS2....I've never felt anything like it. With my limited experience, I couldn't see much difference between Savage, Remington and Tikka. When I tried the Blaser it was so vastly superior that I actually thought to myself...HOLY SH*T!!!!

My Steyr Mannlicher prohunter (30-06) has a beautiful feel to it, but I recently handled a HS Precision which made me wet my pants.
They have medication for overactive bladders now eh...:D
