Snagged a Glock 20 in Wanstalls' sale, curious about it

Apparently Glock 10mm's will run and feed .40 s&w too. I'm not telling you to do it, but it might be worth exploring.

I was wondering how safe that would be... After reading your comment, I went to YouTube, and sure enough, 40 S&W works in a glock 20. That would save me a ton of money when I want to plink.

I had a G20, but found the grips strange and wide compared to my other 10mm.. I'm between a medium and a large in most gloves.

I find the pmc and ae 10mm to be weak.

I prefer rem UMC 10mm and fed p10t1(when I can find it!!) ammo - more economical than buffalo bore, but still good for range practice. Especially at almost 2.50 a pop, I'll save the BB for the serious practice and work use!

Would love to try some winchester silvertip in 10mm as well, The specs look good but I can't find it!

Found the 20 more easily accurate at 25 yards than my 17....and the grip feel was more secure....recoil even w/ 220grn B.B. rounds was easily manageable. Well thought out and engineered shooter imho...and choose your fun level below!!!

Interesting. I don't think the 10mm has a rebated rim like the .40SW does. The extractor could slip and not pull out the spent .40SW casing, or perhaps casings "blow" themselves out anyway?

I want to reiterate, I'm not telling anyone to do anything. This is not any sort of professional advice. However, seeing as the 10mm is the parent case, I can't see it being substantially different. This article goes into in pretty good detail.
