10/22 and I'm in for one. Wonder if the 5.56 would work on an SR22? I can't see why it wouldn't since the are both threaded 1/2 x 28. It would really be something on the end of my 8" .920 Dlask barrel. It would be like shooting my 8.5" Grizzly.LOL

Just a crazy thought. It might be louder but does the sound carry as far as normal. It might change the sound level to a louder "lower pitch sound", that will not travel as far?? A lot of ranges are fighting to stay open and one of the big complaint is the sound of guns. I rarely shoot big boars at the farm anymore as the nieghbours complain but shotgun and muzzleloaders I shoot quite a bit with no problems.

Actually it fires and cycles just fine. It is pretty quiet since there is hardly any powder being burned.
