Snap Cap Problem?

I have a Remington 700 CDL-SF in .270 Win. I just purchased a pack of two Tipton snap caps and neither of them will chamber fully. They load from the magazine and extract ok but I cannot close the bolt handle into the full down position. I recently installed a Timney trigger. A regular cartridge works fine (normally) but not the snap caps. Anyone venture a guess as to what the problem might be?

Double-check to see if they are labelled 270 win on the bottom. A buddy of mine recently encountered a similar issue. The package he bought was labelled 270, but the dummy cartridges were for 30-06.
