Doubt it; with the last election there was a blue wave across the country but the Liberals got the votes where they count. Even in Alberta you can see the political climate shifting towards the NDP.

Everyone talking about Splitting the vote and voting PPC is handing the Liberals a vote: if that is your attitude, you should always just vote Liberal, since you clearly don't vote based on your principals. Voting conservative in your view should be the same, taking away votes from the liberals, and since "they'll win anyway" you should just be voting for them.

The current conservatives are barely different than the liberals. Barely different at all. They support almost every single thing the liberals do and there is no moral reason to vote for them. Screw this "splitting the vote" nonsense. vote based on your conscience. Tactical voting doesn't work and isn't a long term approach for a moral person, and importantly tactically voting for a party that is no different than the liberals is about as short sighted as it gets.

FWIW the negativity is to merely wake up those who enjoy this sport. Seems most on here at least understand what is at stake AND how politics has changed. Reality sometimes sucks! Perhaps one of these fringe groups will actually gain some traction provided they start getting organized on Sept 21, 2021!!

Anyway, will wait on pins and needles as usually happens every 3-4 yrs.
 
I don’t even want to vote conservative anymore. But out of all our options, they will get my vote. No matter what the outcome is.. We are getting pucked. Our system needs an overhaul.

As I posted this response in another thread, I too wasn't happy about it either but I understood why he needed to do it.

The Canadian public has been mislead for years on guns, and O'Toole simply does not have enough time to turn opinions around after years of misinformation given the election is in 2 weeks.

Runkle of the Bailey (Canadian Firearms lawyer on Youtube) posted a 16 minute video titled " Real Lawyer Reviews The Liberal Firearm Platform" yesterday explaining what would happen should the Libtards get re-elected.

Seriously, so much it at stake as we all know Liberals keep their promises when it comes to guns.

A vote for PPC is a vote for Trudeau.
