snaring/trapping coyotes in alberta

what are the rules and regulations for this?I always thought you couldn't do eather but someone told me you can use snares.what do you guys know?

Snares are legal in Alberta. I know that for sure because I used to sell snaring supplies to Albertans. As far the exact legal B.S. contact your local C.O. or the Alberta Trappers Assoc. They'll set you straight. If you are gonna snare coyotes I highly recommend using the Amberg Lock, it's a great snaring lock.

Impala, contact fish & wildlife or the trapping association. You need to be a licensed trapper to trap or use snares in AB, besides it is more fun to hunt them.
