I picked up a Snider Enfield Cavalry Carbine a while back (from Wolverine, they listed it as a cadet carbine but from the various features on it, it really does seem like a cavalry carbine). When I received it, I notice that the locking latch on the breach block was missing, as well as the lifting tab on the breach block being alittle... smashed in. I was wondering if anyone knows of a source of complete/striped breach block assemblies that I could buy from?
Note, I'm not blaming Wolverine for anything, apparently this type of damage might be hard to notice if you're not fairly dialed in on exactly how a Cavalry Carbine is suppose to look as some of the earlier models (mk I and mkII) did not have the same type of locking latch. That's why, I suppose, they thought it was a Cadet Carbine.
