I have been following this thread with interest. I would like to say that there are some great ideas being thrown out there, however some are not realistic to happen on the first go. After running a few matches, I have learned that some of that cool stuff will not fly the first go around. The first and foremost priority in running an event like this is safety and organization and those two tasks will eat up a lot of your time. The users of the event will not come back without attention to those two details. After finding and figuring out how all your props and staff are going to work together you can start to introduce the real fun factor.
There should be a decent demand for this kind of event in Canada. Give it a few go's first to see what and who makes it happen. There are decent events south of us that are really challenging and their ideas can be brought up here.
That last vid looks like some ADC work south of the border and not a hunt. I am always surprised that nothing up here ever happened like that.
