sniper rifle

Maybe a "reviews forum" or something for "what to buy" help or for getting basic info on a specific rifle. For better or worse "precision" suggests seeking something beyond hunting/plinking. How do you categorize that ? Newbies are newbies (trust me I know) and toss S!%$ out there for their own fuzzy reasons . Maybe you need a "Hi-tech , cutting edge laser accurate rifle costing 3500.00 or more" forum. But I bet you would still get the same questions. Guys seeking accuracy will gravitate to where they think they can learn something. Maybe guys who get bored by the same 'ol same 'ol should just avoid those posts. I am not sure there is an answer. But I know that guys who complain about this have ALL posted info I found helpful If that helps.

I guess that would be the Savage kicks Remintun A$$ sticky

I own a remington 700p in .308, it shoots awesome,BUT........
I was at a range a few weeks ago, and a guy there had a savage .308 with a heavy-as* stainless barrel, shooting 168gr matchkings, and at 300 yards, his groups were no bigger than 3/4 inch.I was absolutely amazed, so, though I love my 700p, I cant say anything bad about savage(I think it all boils down to the trigger, and that savage trigger was incredibly light, the guy let me try it)

I just love those 1-shot 3/4" groups. I bet he could do it "all day long if he did his part", if given the opportunity?
