What can you tell me about the first gun?

"Mauser 98 and P14 both with 308 Barrels. Both Cost me under 800$ to do up..."

Is that $800 including the cost of the scope? or just the rifle?

Well I bought the P14 off the EE here for 650 Shipped As Pictured. W/ Stock, Scope, Base, Rings, Barrel ETC

Mauser 98 Came with a HARTS HBAR in 308, PH Rings and Bases, Different Stock for 550.00. So I sold the 2 stocks that came with it, PH rings and bases, factory parts (250$ worth) Bought another stock (one in the picture) 100$, Mount 160$, Trigger 50$, Rings 90$, Scope 250$

Steve, this gun goes together with two screws. Unfortunately Pelican doesn't make a long enough case yet. On the other hand, my gun will reach the mile mark. That's right, 1760yds or for those of you that are metric, 1600meters. Something tells me that your shorter barreled timber wolf won't be making those hits with a 250gr bullet. For more info on just what a difference my put together gun makes, check out the thread, 'bang a gong'. I do like the use of titanium though.

As for the cost of my gun, we went all out and without scope, it's a $6000- $6500 gun. There are few other actions that are big enough unfortunately so we're limited for now but we'll see what the future brings.
