This was the dudes reply to my question of why he had more than 3 rounds in the gun:

"Normally only 3 but during the spring conservation season Tue is no limit on the amount of shells in your gun..some guys use plug extenders and get 8 or wheels in there gun"

It's visible more than once in the video... and also perfectly legal in most states during the spring snow goose seasons. Most states have no limit on shotgun capacity, and extended magazine tubes are commonly used to make the most out of every opportunity.
