I like those N-frame stubbies. What are the combat grips like when shooting the warmer stuff?

Love the 13.

They are such SERIOUS defense handguns.

It and the Python are the easiest to shoot with serious loads too. Fixed sights would certainly be an advantage in a combat handgun. Wish it had better sights though (the ones on the charter arms bulldog are excellent). Or maybe that's just old eyes talking. - dan

Only by shooting a bunch on the same day can you appreciate the features (or issues) of a particular gun.

I recently shot some, all double-action. A big difference in the triggers. A Smith and a Charter Arms were the best. Did not like the Colt Cobras, Agents or Detectives.

Agree, good way to figure out what really works. D frame Colts don't have the best triggers, true. Need a lot of work to be truly smooth. I think the K frames are a much better choice. Hard to beat the N frame triggers, but they are a heavy, large revolver. - dan

That Model 19 with Herret stocks hits the sweet spot for me, K Frames fit. I've still got a 19, 66, 17, and a 14. Unfortunately no snubs. The K-38 Model 14 has about the best factory trigger I've owned.

Sweet collections gents! Sadly, I've given up all my snubby revolvers other than one Colt that Rodger K fixed up the trigger on for me many years ago.
