So, are EoTech's the black sheep of the optics world now, or are they still good?

I don't know what unit you're working with but all of ours were pulled over the winter and replaced with Elcans. I thought this replacement was CAF wide. I love the EoTech but a general purpose service optic it is not. Even overseas we replaced them with the Elcan, it is so much more versatile.

Not knocking them, I still think it's a great sight for range toys and doorkickers.
 
Your an EO tech? Found that pretty ironic when they changed the trade name from FCS.
