When he does bring in some .308, I hope it's not like the stuff I saw in Prince George this week:

IVI 76 NATO in the 2 rows of 10 kind of box. (As opposed to the other NATO stuff in the 4 rows of 5 box that measures 2.5" X 1.75" X 3")

The IVI 76 I saw had the brass looking very dark, discoloured, blotchy, and kinda dodgy looking. Rather like like ruptured case shown in the other thread about mystery 7.62 X 51, only more so.

Oddly enough, the boxes on this stuff looked just about perfect. I can't imagine how the brass itself could discolour so badly, but the box look so good. You'd never guess that the contents could be so iffy.

It won't be tarnished. It will be good stuff. When you see tarnish it is because it was poorly stored without the original crates/tins.
