So here we are (dad, mom, me and my brother) driving around. We come around this corner and mom yells "BEAR!!!!!", then she changes here mind to "no its a log" so we back up and I see the log turn its head. Im already scrambling around to find my shells. Dad's backing up while im bailling out of the truck. About 75 yards there is this NICE brown bear eating something. So we decide to do a small stalk on the bear, we get to about 70 yards away from him (i said small stalk!!). So I look down the scope, check the bear out a bit. I start making some noise to see if the bear will trun and face me, no luck. But a logging truck goes by and scares the bear, while hes running a away i look and see he has what looks like a bullet hole in him.
Anyway, didnt get the bear . Next time though!!!
Would you consider a bear not looking to your noise to be a male?
