So..............did you get one?

Any chance of an after action report post?
What you folks at Wolverine felt went right or wrong etc.

And I don't mean server issues I feel that was to be expected
It seemed like a fair process from my end ... but then I got one so ...

I think the major recommendation would be to strip the site down for this type of sale. Far too many things need to load on each page.

Also streamline the checkout!! Shouldn't need to load 4 or 5 pages to get to payment and submit. Check out all on one page.

An excellent idea, I will ask Ryan to see to that as he is the expert there. Today he is busy making sure that no one has got over charged with extra guns and making sure they only pay for one. we will not be charging anyone an admin fee as we accept this was due to hitting the key pad to many times. As I said the site did not crash but the volume did slow it down. I am helping in shipping today, our goal is to have them all shipped out no later than Friday.

What did you order from ebay that had import fee's?

Beaver barf stock and wood stocks for vz58. If the seller is honest and fills out the value of shipment and it lands at customs hands not only will they open it but also charge you duties. Most sellers include receipts in boxs so it's a give away. Mind you it's not a huge amount. I paid like 16-27$ on ordered tops.

Thanks for all the hard work, you have some work ahead for sure. I went into this knowing that I should click only once and wait yet somehow added 2 to my cart. Couldn't seem to edit quantity in my cart (might wanna check into that)so cancelled and started all over again, thought I was beat for one by then.

Started again got to the last checkout process and got the error message, clicked back a few times and started out all over again and everything went OK just slowly. Got a email confirmation after for 1 rifle so it looks like when I got the error message nothing went through.(still gotta check my credit card balance)

Happy I got one but man was it frustrating before I got the confirmation. Just about 2 hours for my experience. I obviously clicked twice somewhere to add two to my cart and thats my bad, that mistake added over a hour to my ordeal and the error message added probably 15 to 20 minutes maybe.

So would have taken me about 30 to 40 munutes without mistakes and error messages, not too bad. Impatient guys who ended up with 9+ in their carts and multiple purchases certainly added to the errors and made it harder for all, I just hope it's not too big a nightmare for you guys to straighten out the next couple days.

Now get my rifle shipped damnit! LOL seriously though good job, hope it was entertaining for you to watch even though you were probably sitting there going "crap gotta fix that one, and that one, and that one ect.

I was a little cheezed at the shrub's who were suggesting to check inventory by adding 500 to your cart and it will show how many are left! You know a bunch were doing it just to check and slowing things down for the people who were stuck waiting on the confirmation page for a legitimate purchase. Useless waste of bandwidth for what was going on, cost a few getting in on a purchase I'll bet.

I started the order process at 12pm, the website was very slow. I knew there was so many people place the order at same time. Finally got one.:)

No luck, and to be honest the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Congratulations to the lucky ones.
Tim

I feel the same way, I was on time I did everything right and spent two and a half hours getting errors. My card was charged three times so I know it went through I just never got a confirmation email. To me that points to a problem with their system. I would have at least expected an apology or some admission of guilt but that isn't happening so to those who got rifles congratulations.

I don't think an apology is warrented at all , it is more of an "it is what it is" thing here I think. No use crying over spilled milk type deal. Things were not ideal for sure by any stretch but I don't think anyone is guilty of anything. In the end 400 people got rifles and Wolverine sold them all , end of story for me.

I got the payment error message twice and moved on, was not worth the time or hassle, they keep popping up in the exchange anyway, sometimes for a reasonable price if I ever decide I need another....

The smart ones logged into their account at Wolverine, had the 858 page pulled, long before the time and ready to hit the refresh button at 12pm.
It was slow, but it did work. I thought for the first 5 minutes or so, I was the only one having issues.
