So..............did you get one?

People are so entitled. Why should anyone apologize. They're a retailer with in demand product. We're consumers with free income. They did their best to facilitate a fair exchange of the two, and the pure amount of demand made it difficult logistically. Let's be adults and try not to take it personally.

Well I just got a tracking number
Not sure it's the rifle however as I accidentally bought a magazine for the 858 earlier in the day as I was prefilling out my information.
Well that part of the plan worked anyhow
I did put a note on the 858 for them to be shipped together but with that amount of volume it may get missed.
If it is the rifle it may just get home before me

Perhaps you need to hire a new I.T. person. The claim that your web server could handle the traffic was a load of bull droppings. 10 minutes for a page to load is ridiculous, in this time of technology. Then the credit card processing errors. Yes, I had my account open and the 858 page loaded, and hit the refresh button at a couple minutes after 12 your time. After wasting an hour of my time for error pages, I gave up. You seriously need to look at your I.T. infrastructure. Can you imagine if Amazon had these problems??? And really, holding it on Sunday, when no one could call for support. Not conducive to good business...

Thank you for your feedback.

Somebody needs a hug

An excellent idea, I will ask Ryan to see to that as he is the expert there. Today he is busy making sure that no one has got over charged with extra guns and making sure they only pay for one. we will not be charging anyone an admin fee as we accept this was due to hitting the key pad to many times. As I said the site did not crash but the volume did slow it down. I am helping in shipping today, our goal is to have them all shipped out no later than Friday.

It seems there was a problem with your website that would crash after the order was submitted. Some people who followed the rules and ordered just one, had their CC hit but the order never processed. The trick, it seems, would have been to ignore the multiple order rule, and order as many as you could, cancel the extras later, rather than trying to play by the "rules."

I'm not sure what the value or logistics would be for spending on server upgrades for a one off event but I am sure it would need to get passed on to us
In my opinion they could have tacked on a couple hundred and still sold them all, so the fact that they sold the rifle as low as they did shows that they were looking to serve us rather than them.
It sucks that some missed out but most who were planning on getting the rifle were prepared to lose out

I'm not sure any Web page could possibly process 400 people trying to purchase an item as fast as possible. Yea amazon does high daily volume but I don't think it's in the full out blitz at the strike of noon with hundreds of people going click crazy for 4 straight hours.

I have crappy internet at home.

I had all the issues stated in this thread, including the ones caused by my own impatience/frustration.

I went in with the expectation of winding up with nothing.

Now I have a higher balance on my credit card and a confirmation notice in my email.

If I was perfect, maybe I could complain. But since that is not the case........

For my case, I just order one "by the rules" by going click by click staying calm... I started at Noon and I click too many times on "Add to Cart" so I had like 6 in my cart. I quit the browser and start from the beginning again and at 12:22 everything was finished, with only 1 order with 1 cc charged.

When the last time you checked your providers Mbps. Did a speed test of your own system. You ever stop to think that any connection issues you may have had, actually could have originated on your end? Because it seems that a heck of a lot of people were still able to navigate slowly through the process, in order to complete their order. Wolverine did and excellent job, all things considered.

I was working all night, got back to the bunkhouse hoping thered be a few left to place an order and found out they sold out pretty damn quick. Congrats to those who got them, guess I'll have to settle on the CSA VZ58 if I ever want to get one of these... That is, unless someone has post purchase regret, in which case I'd be glad to take it off your hands, for a fair price of course.

well it took me 2 hours to finally get one 22 mins to get the site to get to the cart then 1.5 hours to get it to take my cc, error every time after 10-20 mins of processing I finally ended up using IE AND firefox browser at the same time (the second I got the processing error id hit submit on the other browser) even then it took me about 5 more tries I got my near the end and I started at 12noon
