So..............did you get one?

Some people have mentioned getting really light stocks... All I have seen are the Dark redish ones. can someone post a pictures of the light colored ones they received?

I'm keeping mine stock, had some accessories with the new CSA so it's pictured with the other two.
 
Well I was like a kid on Xmas morning opening mine. Opened it up and what do I see first, a new medium brown leather mag pouch with 4 new mags inside. Now I'm excited so I dig out the bayo which appears to be new as well in perfect condition, with a lightly used sheath that matches the mag pouch color nicely. The sling is used but in great shape. So now the rifle next, I slide it out of the bag and it is perfect with the U front sight. All the beaver barf furniture appears new and it all matches great. I have seen a few 858's in my day and just sold the nicest one I every came across around a month ago. This 858 beats the one I sold in every aspect! Thanks Wolverine and I guess I lucked out for a change. When I have a chance to screw around with photobuckets, I'll post some pics.

Mine has a 42 stamped on the left side of the receiver just before the lower handguard starts. Is it a 1942?

pictures? i was wondering what they would be stamped with and what size the milled "window" would be.

Edit: oh. you said lower hand guard.. the year should be on the left side of the rear sight base.
 
This is the information I have. Side of rear sight base looks like a 06 or maybe a 90?
Then there's a big 42. Don't know what these are.

This might be the year of manufacture? 13? Like.. 2013?? I'd be surprised, aren't these guns old comblock stuff from the 80 or 90s? (Other side is blank and has no stamps)
