Oh thank god I made it just under the cutoff age of being officially "old" to millenials!

Although the grey hairs are coming in full force on my head and in my beard so I fear I soon I may look like an old Fudd then I'm screwed!!!

Unfortunately since becoming a mod I spend way more time in the politics and news forums and not enough time here in Milsurp.

it is rare that I have to delete threads here but there is the occasional clean up.

smellie is a gentleman that has a lot of good information and had good post. I have had one or two dealings with smellie buying and selling.

I would have to go back to see what lead to his self imposed exile, but I do recall that I did give some infractions and had to clean up a thread or 2.

I appreciate the help and info you've given me. Though I'm not THAT young.

There are lots of really nice people on here but for every ten nice people there is one negative one that's only here to find the worst in everything.

Is there a forum where quarrelsome trolls are summarily banned? The hunting forum I frequent is suffering the same symptoms. I read less and post very seldom now. It seems being "inclusive" means suffering fools gladly, for fear of "internet shaming". I have begun speaking up to annoying people in my personal life so I don't have to spend any more time listening to their ####. If I offend them they go away, problem solved.

It wasn't long ago when I was wondering about smellie. I always read his posts and replies to gain more insight and knowledge on the good 'ol Lee Enfields. I miss his input. Glad he's still around.
 
Sad to hear of what happened to George and Jan over the weekend. Since Smellie stopped posting here we have lost his knowledge, and now some of his collection of written material is gone as well.
