So here I am with a bunch of shellac...

Isn't that stuff pretty dangerous compared to alcohol?

Sure, if you inhale it or something. Same thing applies when working with any other chemical: use in a well ventilated area, and wear gloves!

As promised, here are some pics of how she did at the range:

First grouping at 100 meters:

2x2 inches, minus the fliers on each side.
-174gr (.312) RN Hornady interlocks. Backed up with H4895 and WLR primers.

Second grouping at 100 meters:
(The fliers are my fault, the trigger takes some getting used to.)

-150gr (.312) SP Hornady interlocks. Same powder and primer combo, different powder weight though.

Both loads are 1.5 grains below max for their respective bullet weights. All of which are taken from the Hogdon website. This rifle REALLY likes the 150 grn interlocks. The only problem is, I'm out of them and I can't find them ANYWHERE! If someone has a source, I'd love to know about it.

With the 150's, she shot between .75 inch and 2 inch groups all day. She's still shooting 12 inches high, however I'll be fixing that problem shortly. This thing cost me $150 and it's easily one of my most accurate rifles... and I'm not even neck sizing or grouping bullets by weight yet!
