So how do the NEA Ar's shoot

I put another 50 or so rounds through my 10.5" this afternoon. That's only 250-ish in total but it's been 100% reliable. No FTF or FTE of any sort with factory and reloaded 55 gr. ammo, including some Hornady steel-cased .223. I've used 4 different types of mags, including LAR 10 rounders, and they've all worked without issue.

Mine is having the bolt issues. Just got back from the range. Shot 40 rounds, bolt never locked back once with 8 magazines, had 4 double feeds. Using 55 grain winchester and American eagle. Two different magazines. 5/30 pmags and 5/20 short magazines. I've emailed Dave, what else should I do?

Yes, tore it all down with my friend who is a carbine operator for the police here, he has over 10,000 rounds through his to state his experience. He helped me lube it up before we went to the range today. Wasn't cold, -2, sunny.

Sounds like one of the early guns they tested suppressed. I would call NEA and I'm sure they will repair it for free.

I'll bet you have an undersized gas port. They will swap your upper out like they did for a few other guys here. They made the mistake of testing guns with a can on which hid the fact they were under gassed.

Ya, I know. Just when I got my rifle from Target I didn't get a warranty card or this infamous poker chip, so I have no idea how to contact their warranty department.

Drop dave@northeasternarms.com an email, he'll help you out.
