A little better than in that video.
At 100 yards, My Russian ones group the biggest, probably because they're well used. 5-6 inches usually.
My Chinese ones do quite well as they're unissued and tighter. My Yugoslavian M59/66 A1 is about as good as my Chinese ones although the font sight was hitting about two or three inches left at 50 yards, I've knocked it over with a sight tool and it's as dead on as it can be now.
Not target rifles by any means, but acceptable.
Using Monty Python to create another "SKS Accuracy" thread... you bloody clever bloke.
Did I touch a nerve?
I can consitently hit popcans with my chinese SKS at 100yards with open sights.
I get 7/8 inch groups at 200 yards iron sights just banging away
My '53 refurb does ~4" groups at 100yds if I do my part, using Czech surplus. Have not shot it with anything else so far.

How does my SKS shoot?
Well, it is really an interesting process if you don't know much about it.
It all starts off with the trigger. When the trigger is pressed, it releases the hammer.....![]()
