So Hungry Sold His Personal M14

I see on the EE that some lucky soul scored big time and snatched Hungrys personal/demo m14. I sure would like to have that one in my safe. Has anybody seen it at one of his clinics?

Here is a link to his ad: http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=793220

I wouldn't want it. Why you ask?

I do believe it was cared for, cleaned and tuned up to ring like a bell. The problem is that it likely has 54,2351,416 rounds through it. :p

If Barney sold his m14 you best be sure he has another project on the go. He is possibly the nicest most helpful guy I have had the pleasure of working with on a few projects. Who ever bought that rifle has snatched up a very good deal and i can vouche it was extreamly well cared for.

One thing's for sure and that being he is the most generous guy on this entire board. A truly helpful person. :)

Ain't that the truth!

I am lucky enough to count Barn as one of my personal friends so when I say something on here stupid or that rubs you the wrong way just remember, if Barney can be friends with me I can't be THAT bad!

Never met Barney before, but I PM'd him a question about a precision build based on a Model 70 (I was told he might be able to offer some advice), and he gave me a really helpful (lengthy) reply. I know the man is uber busy, yet he still took the time to help me out. So yes, I agree with the above statement.

My head is getting toooo big.. ha ha ha

The blue/black/grey theme is deliberately and shamelessly stolen from the Mcmillan website. It's their Navy pattern/scheme. Ever seen the US Navy digi-pat? Yes, it's blue/black/grey Marpat/digi-pat. I've rubbed elbows with many shooters from the US Navy teams in Connaught and that's what they wear. :D

Thanks all of you for the kind words...

Cheers,
Barney

As well I can count Barney as a good friend with a wealth of invaluable knowledge an insight that I can rely on when needed an have used many many times.
The man with the new gem has got a real piece of canadian M14 history ;)
