And I've pretty much narrowed it down to either the Hatsan MP-A or a DA Cougar, just because I want more, cheaper guns.

Those of you with one or both.... sell me on one. I've read the reviews, and it hasn't solved a damn thing in my mind.

So far, the Hatsan is winning in terms of things I want (the rail, ghost rings, a stock with a pistol grip... I prefer them over the more traditional stocks) but I'm not sure I like how the trigger moves... how quick does one get used to it? How reliable is it cycling a variety of loads? Everything from soft shooting target loads, to 00 buck (regular and reduced recoil) and even full house slugs... will it eat cheap ammo with ease?

Same thing for the Cougar fans... sell it to me!

Someone just posted an awesome thread on his HP-A in this part of the forum. Really detailed. Makes me want one.

If it comes with most the options you want, go with that.
