I've always lubed pistol brass regardless of how I cleaned it. But now, with wet tumbling after I size, I don't need lube for loading.
I may fire up the new dry tumbler for a quick clean of the brass before processing it, just to get some of the light dust off, not sure yet, it's been working fine to process "dirty" brass so far, as long as it's lubed. Then wash, dry and load later on.
