I'm in! Here, there, S'toon, wherever...that sounds like a great idea. We can have contests for worst trigger (hmmm...everybody wins that one), ugliest rifle (uh oh), biggest groups (seems there's a trend developing here).

Maybe we can just get together and shoot. :)

Give it a couple years then remember your post. Chances are you'll have a couple 3K firearms by then. Oh and that 24 gun safe you thought was more than big enough to hold all the firearms you ever anticipate owning... Well guess again.

I hate to agree but he is right, after a while 3K rifles dont make you nervous anymore and sometimes you end up with 4 or 5... 24 guns safes... JP.

There is definitely an element of truth there... :D However, I made the decision long ago that when the safe became full - I either had to make due and reorganize, or something had to go.

Yep, $3k, $4k (by the time you add optics, etc.)... It's all about quality over quantity (at least for me, anyway). I'd rather have one or two rifles that do everything I want as opposed to a half dozen cheaper ones that each 'kinda' meet the requirements.
 
That what i am doing now, 2 are now empty one i will keep full ( those extra accurate rifles and great Italian shotguns you will never sell) and 2 more to empty, Quebec injonction did help me start the process... JP.

mine shot similar groups until I really started to lock it down with a firm hold. After I started that it shoots 1.5" 5 rd groups with white box. With that trigger it needs to be very firm to shoot well.
 
There is a range just north of Swift my buddy belongs to that you can use restricted at. i will get the name from him and send it to you.
Nice rifle by the way, was in TNT a couple weeks ago and Edd let me fondle/drool over it and the RFB he had at the time. Very very nice.

Appreciate that!

I heard about a range 7 or 8 miles north of town but I was told that it was closed by order of the CFO until they could bring the range up to standards. I was also told the same thing about a range just west of town........
