So I hooked a couple Enfields from Tradeex

Any idea where these rifles came from? Some of them have what looks to be oriental characters on the buttstock. Chinese lend-lease maybe? The 2 I got are Savage no 4 mk1*.

Bottom two characters are "Military Use"

Least 40,000 Savage No4 sold to Kuomintang-Chinese National forces from what I've heard. Maybe mostly for the Indian theater of operations.

I was just looking at the Tradex site a few minutes ago and saw they were all gone. Didn't last long.
Lever had a few just a couple of weeks ago.

I received both of them. 1 is unserviceable and will use for parts. The very forward part of the rail is missing so there is nowhere for the bolthead to ride in when the rifle goes in battery. No big deal, it is worth what I paid for it in parts.
