What a great guy he is. While I have heard a lot about him and watched countless videos of him I can truly say he is a very nice, very humble guy. For those of you who get to train with him and hang out with him over the next few weeks, you guys are in for a treat.

To those of you taking his training; you won't be disappointed. I'm a little envious.

I still have memory spurts of my class with him a few years ago and go "hey - I should have remembered that!"

My advice - TAKE LOTS OF NOTES. You will never digest it all, nor remember it all when it is going on - get together with other students after and compare notes to see what you forgot to write down.

Dunno if he still does the mag thing - and I'm not going to spill the beans on it - just to say focus on shooting "A"s in training like you would in a competition. ;)

Have lots of Aleve / Advil / Tylenol on hand for the day after he shows you the "low prone" Position - especially if you really try to do it.

I was taking some training with Travis Tomasie last month and some dipwad in the class was trying to tell Travis that his method of reloading wasn't the best. Travis is one of the nicest guy you will ever meet; and he was trying to find a polite way to tell the guy to go away. I interrupted Travis with "You teach the same method Eric does." and Travis' response was "Well, then - it's been proven to be the best, hasn't it?"

Hey you guys, rub it in a bit why don't ya..... just kidding
Hope you all have a great time,...I am most envious :) what an amazing opportunity

I wish I had the time and money to do the course. I have no aspirations of being competitive in IPSC so it's not a huge loss for me. I'll be content with RO'ing Eric for 6 squads in a week and a half. Rumour has it he will shoot open, standard and production each day but again that's just a rumour.

I'm looking forward to watching him shoot the match. Even more so cool is the fact that Chris Tilley, Bill Drummond and Jay Hirshberg are planned to attend as well :)

here a picture of us doing the interview with Eric more photos and video of the interview to follow..

what did he have for dinner..... desert ?? did he two fist it like a convict or did he eat with european manners ??

We had a nice assortment of authentic Italian stuff, and some carbon burgers. Desert last night was home made lemon iced cream, cannolis and some custard tart things.

More important than that was desert tonight... we let the chef come out for some fresh crepes...

yup.. I took a dozen mags to the first time I went to his course ;) just in case..

I loved his low prone shooting.. I still use that one every once in a while..

it's one of those courses you don't appreciate until a year or two later, when you realize after doing it wrong for so many years, and the seconds it shaves off your time..
