so i,m putting in a 3" EJECTOR spring inan 870 12ga

so i have striped out the old one cleaned everthing off have the new 3" items and the pins ready to go.
What i want to know is, do i just use a punch and hammer the one side intill it peens over and holds the parts into place or am i missing somthing.
one of the few jobs i have not done yet on the 870.

there is a special tool for rolling the rivet its actually two punches
If you can borrow them from someone it would make your life a whole lot easier
if not PM me and I'll see about mailing mine to you to use
