well i got myself in a bind. I went on the gunbroker.com and bought a couple of small pistol slides that i had impossible time to find here in Canada. Just as i did that i realized the guy does not ship to Canada, great...He suggested that he can send it to a relative or friend in the U.S.and they can send it to me/.... would be perfect but i dont have anyone in the US.
So here it is. Is anyone here able to help me? All i need is an address in U.S and i will compensate you for shipping charges and your time when i get my stuff.
I know its a lot to ask but i have no choice. Please let me know by PM or email.
thanks.

UPS Store in Ogdensburg, NY accepts packages, costs you something like $5 a day per package to have them hold it. not sure how they'd react to slides, though...

That's WAY over the top for holding price. Good ol' UPS. Always ripping off the little guy.

Drslav, assuming you're anywhere within a reasonable driving distance to the US I'm sure you'll find package receiving services at the first town past the border. Assuming they work the same as here you send the package to your name at their address. There's a 2 to 3 dollar fee for holding it for you and, again assuming it's like the ones here, they'll hold the package for two to three months before giving up on you and returning it.

Sounds as if the OP is looking for someone to assist in circumventing US ITAR export control regulations.

Major firearms compnents, like slides, cannot be legally exported without complying with US federal arms control regulations.
This requires that a Canadian International Import Certificate be submitted to a licenced US exporter, who would then apply to the US Department of State for an export permit.
You are asking for someone to violate US arms control law.

ok..i am closest to Niagara Falls. what do i look for? post office? ups store?
if it works out i would get more stuff from them...there is always parts on there that are impossible to get here on EE.
looks like i have to take a drive ...was hoping i didnt have to, i need to work.
$5 isnt much to pay as the parts were only $35 to buy and still worth it although over an hour drive to the other side doesn't appeal to me...at least weather is nice.
But still looking maybe someone be willing to do this for me to save all this confusion...or any other ideas?
